Today, business has changed beyond recognition, and one of its key features has been the transition to remote work, which has remained even after the pandemic. The hybrid work format, where employees spend part of their time outside the office, has become widespread.

Despite these changes, Kolesa Group, one of the largest IT companies in Kazakhstan, continues to expand and is opening another office. This is the fourth office in Almaty implemented by the SpaceCon team for Kolesa Group. The new office is located in a three-story building at Shevchenko Street 155/6 and has been named "Shevchenko-3".

SpaceCon was invited to perform comprehensive work on creating a design project and implementing a new workspace for two large teams responsible for developing the Kolesa.kz and Avtoelon.uz platforms. The new office will host both internal and external company events, including meetups and meetings with partners.

The main task was to create a space that provides comfortable conditions for employees to work and communicate, as well as to support corporate events.

We carried out a complete reconstruction of the basement floor, transforming it into an open space for over 100 people, with a work-cafe zone designed for dining and meetings. On the remaining three floors, we performed wall repainting, ceiling replacements, heating system upgrades, and modernization of sanitary facilities.

Basement Floor: April – July 2023
We used:
— 757 m² of carpet;
— 130 kg of glue;
— 1155 kg of filler;
— 450 kg of paint.

Our team also installed a green wall and carried out final work to improve the acoustics of the meeting rooms.

Stylish Coffee Points

We developed unique coffee points made of natural wood, built into the walls for harmonious integration into the office space. Now, water dispensers are directly connected to the water supply, providing convenience for employees on every floor.

Work-Cafe Upgrade

We enhanced the work-cafe by adding soundproofing, improved lighting, and a tiered area for events. The acoustic panels on the ceiling are executed in a black and white color scheme, matching the overall concept of the office.

Monochrome Carpet

To create a minimalist and modern look, we chose a monochrome gray carpet, which also simplifies maintenance.

Improved Wardrobes

On each floor, wardrobe rooms with ventilation systems and windows are equipped, contributing to keeping employees' clothing fresh and well-maintained.

Meeting Rooms with Noise Reduction

We installed acoustic panels in the meeting rooms to reduce noise levels, improving the quality of meetings.

1.Engineering works

From day one of the project, the SpaceCon team ensured the complete engineering setup of the office. We installed all necessary systems: electrical (EOM), structured cabling systems (SCS), ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC), water supply and sewage systems (WS), as well as low-current systems (LCS). Each engineering system was installed in full compliance with the project standards and the client’s requirements.

2.Finishing works

The finishing works included not only creating a stylish and functional interior but also selecting high-quality materials that ensure durability. We paid special attention to the color scheme and space zoning to ensure the office fully aligned with Stada Kazakhstan's corporate style.

3.Flexibility and adaptation to changes

During the project implementation, there was a need for changes and adjustments, to which our team responded promptly. We were able to flexibly approach the arising tasks, ensuring an uninterrupted workflow and adherence to the schedule.

In 2026, the SpaceCon team completed the comprehensive fit-out of the new Dentons Kazakhstan office in Almaty, located at 110E Al-Farabi Avenue.

The project became a clear demonstration of how precise design, well-engineered solutions, and effective construction coordination make it possible to deliver an international-standard office under strict deadlines and elevated requirements for quality and safety.

Project Start: Design as the Foundation for Speed and Quality

The project began with the development of a design concept and a full set of working drawings, including architectural and all engineering disciplines. Within a compressed timeframe, the SpaceCon team completed the design development, coordination, and documentation release, allowing construction to proceed without interruptions.

Special attention was given to the building façade. Its concept and technical solutions were developed as a separate scope, ensuring a cohesive architectural image and full alignment with the status of an international law firm.

General Contracting and Demolition: Starting from a Clean Slate

In August, the general contracting agreement was signed, after which SpaceCon moved into the active implementation phase. At the initial stage, a full demolition was carried out: all existing finishes and engineering systems were removed, and the site was prepared down to the concrete shell for the new project.

Engineering and Construction: Complex Coordination Without Disruptions

The key challenge of the project was the simultaneous execution of multiple parallel processes, including:

• complete replacement of the building façade;
• installation of new engineering systems:
• heating, power supply, ventilation and air conditioning, fire protection piping, water supply and drainage, low-current systems, and a structured cabling system (SCS);
• a full scope of interior finishing works.

All stages were carried out in parallel, following a clearly structured schedule. This approach significantly reduced the overall project duration without compromising quality.

Control, Materials, and Precision of Execution

Throughout construction, all technological processes and approved design solutions were strictly followed. Thanks to detailed documentation, the works progressed smoothly without downtime or on-site redesigns.

From the first days of implementation, imported finishing materials and equipment were ordered, helping avoid supply delays and maintain a high construction pace.
